Process Overview

PACCAN’s Cannabis Flower Export:

  • Cannabis flower exportation is a highly complex process because it is still considered a narcotic products in international logistics.

  • In addition, different destination countries have different sets of standards, quality measures, document sets, and procedures, which make the entire process very challenging to the inexperienced operators. Moreover, mistakes are very expensive because non compliant products will be destroyed by the authorities at the destination countries.

  • PACCAN has experience with export logistics and will work with our customers/ partners to ensure commercial exportation commercial success. Below are the high level steps to start with PACCAN.

Step by Step Procedure:

  1. Contact our team to start the registration process. Information required include: strain name, quality level, quantities, timeline, target destination markets, and pricing expectations.

  2. Send 80 grams of sample to our lab to get full panel testing. Within 14 days, we will revert with the full panel COA analytics, and notify you of where your products can be sold according to the quality standards of each destination country.

  3. If you have a buyer in hand already, PACCAN will need to onboard the buyer, requiring a set of documents such as import license, permits, and others.

  4. If you do not have a buyer, and need our distribution support, we will be able to revert to you with expected price range and timeline of payments from our distribution partners.

  5. Once commercial arrangements have been settled, PACCAN team will notify you of the date that the flowers need to be transported to our post harvest processing facility.

  6. Within 7-10 days of the products arriving at our facility, it would be loaded on air freight to the destination countries. And customers can expect to receive payments in tranches as follows: 30% within 2 weeks of flowers landing at the final destination, another 40% within 2 weeks after first tranche, and final tranche 30% within 2 weeks of the second tranche.. For retail distributions, pricing and payment timelines are discussed and agreed on a case by case basis.
